join us at RumRiver Art Center

Artists del Norte meetings and workshops are held at the Rum River Art Center in Anoka. For the locals, you may remember it as the old Milk Factory. Now turned art center, it is a lovely location with lots of space, good vibes and class opportunities. We have really fell in love with the space.

August 2019:   Member Plein Air Art Experience- This month is a field trip to a site near the Rum River Art Center for some Plein Air fun! Begin as early as 5:00 PM and work till dusk (around 8:00 PM). Paul Boecher will be there to coordinate. As dusk sets in we’ll return to the Art Center and share our potluck treats. Bring treats to share if you can!

Note: Board Meeting will via email. A Board member will be at RRAC at 5:00. Meet at RRAC at 5:00 if you wish to walk or drive to the Plein Air site as a group.

Bring your traveling art tools to the Starch building site (only the foundation is left) near the Rum River Art Center (see map) and spend some time with your fellow artists.    This is a site maintained by the Park Board as a river overlook.
